Originally founded as Hartwell & Company in 1989, Hartwell Financial LLC has grown from one office in St. Joseph, Michigan, to three locations in two states.

We engage with businesses and families of all sizes, providing accounting work, consultations, tax planning, and tax preparation services.

For years, clients have known us not just for our tax work, but also our Advisory Services. In 2022 we took steps to rebrand the business. Hartwell Financial LLC now operates as our Accounting and Tax practice, while Hartwell & Company is the name by which we provide Financial Planning services. All of this work continues to be provided by the same team in the same offices, just under two distinct names.
